Samuel Zaruba is a faculty member in the Douglas J. Von Allmen School of Accounting at the University of Kentucky’s Gatton School of Business and the Center for Data Analytics. His PhD is from the University of Nevada and the Center for Cybersecurity. He has spent more than a decade working with healthcare organizations, public energy utilities, various US government organizations such as the federal US National Science Foundation (NSF) and members of the Fortune 500 including Microsoft Research Azure Cybersecurity, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Bank of America, AT&T, and Amazon Web Services. He has published in top academic journals such as Information Systems Control Journal (ISACA) where his research focuses on IT Risk Management and Auditing. He has taught university coursework at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Her PhD is from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business where she partnered with Fortune 500 Responsible AI departments focusing on decision sciences under uncertainty, responsible AI, and privacy concerns. She has published research in top academic journals including Production and Operations Management. She has presented her research at a number of top conferences and universities. She has worked with and consulted for top industry AI-related firms and government entities including Microsoft, Tata, the UN, and the World Trade Center. She has taught coursework at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
